Beverley Head is an experienced Freelancer, bringing years of experience and understanding of the Gig Economy.

Beverley Head has been a business journalist since the 1980s, initially in London, then Sydney. For a decade she was the information technology editor of the Financial Review before becoming the paper’s features editor.

Now a freelance writer and communications consultant her journalism focusses on business and technology. Beverley has written for a wide range of publications including The Age, Banking Day, Boss, Company Director, InnovationAus, InTheBlack, QantasWay and The Sydney Morning Herald.

Beverley provides a range of communications services including corporate writing, media training and white paper development. She has worked with Accenture, Aon, Baker & McKenzie, Bird&Bird, Microsoft, Sparke Helmore, Fujitsu, Objective Corporation, Hudson, Qlik and Qualtrics.

Beverley has also acted as a panel facilitator, moderator and chair for industry conferences and seminars including FST Media’s banking and insurance conferences, Australian Information Industry Association events, NSW Department of Regional and State Development’s Great Exchange, Rewind Fast Forward and Agile Australia, along with corporate events most recently for Blackline.

She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Metallurgy and the Science of Materials from Oxford University.
